Mommy and Me: Cream Shift Dresses
These Mommy and me outfits have been so fun to style. I love playing matchy matchy with Aria. Her personality has been so fun lately. She is a spit fire and our teenage years are probably going to be quite dramatic. The girl is a ham and a half. You can check out our Mommy and Me Gymboree set here for more ideas!
My Dress came from Charming Charlie and it was one of my favorite purchases ever from that store. I paired a skirt extender underneath to give it not only layer but a little more length. The sleeves on this dress just make it so much more chic and elegant. This is a perfect Mother’s Day dress.
Aria has had this dress for a while. It is starting to become a little too short for her, but it looks adorable on her. I love the lace detail and how well she can move in it. H&M has some of the cutest little girl clothes ever. It pairs well with my cream dress and it just fits her personality.
My shoes are a simple lace up flat. They are comfortable, chic and easy to style. Charlotte Russe has such an amazing variety, for inexpensive. This is just a cute monochromatic look.
Old navy has so many adorable kids clothes and shoes. I love their selection and I really love their prices. These shoes pair so well with this dress. Aria can run around and play in these shoes while looking chic. Win win for us both.
Mommy and Me has been so fun to style. They can be expensive if you don’t know where to look. You don’t have to have exact matches, look for similar fabrics, or similar styles. If you do go for the exact matches search places like Old Navy and H&M you get the most for your money there. Jane often has inexpensive mommy and me options. Spending $60+ for mommy and me outfits is worth it to some people, but as a mom on a budget I try to keep each outfit close to under $15 for Aria and under $40 for me. These dresses were both something we had in our closets already.
