Good Morning Ladies,

This Unit fell on the perfect week for this topic. The week of St. Patricks Day! It was a fun unit to teach Aria. We enjoyed the fun activities. We did an experiment that I did not take photos of. It was off the cuff and I wanted to live in that moment with Aria I left my work behind and just enjoyed it. I will give you a step by step and a video so you can do the same experiment.

Rainbow Tracing (Monday)

This was a fun little activity to do with Aria. She loves coloring and markers so she really had a blast with this. We listened to songs about Rainbows sang and did this printable. You can download your own { HERE }.

Rainbow Video/Experiment (Tuesday)

This was a fun one the experiment I discussed above is listed in this video. All you need is a Mirror, Flashlight, and a glass of water. This video was an adorable way of explaining what a rainbow is and how one is formed. Aria watched it 3-4 times. We used this video { HERE }.

Rainbow Buttons (Wednesday)

This activity helped Aria with a few different things. Learning colors, picking out buttons that went with the right color, categorizing and counting.

She actually played with this sheet a few different times through the week, and would not let me put away the buttons. You can download the sheet  { HERE }.

Playdoh Rainbow (Thursday)

This was a fun activity for us both. It was a great bonding time for us because I was off my phone and there in the moment. These classes have been awesome for me to refocus my attention. My phone is off in another room while we spend time together learning and playing. It has broken my addiction to my phone and it has been so nice! I highly recommend setting down the phone and living in the moment.

Friday

We watched the video again and played with the button rainbow sheet. Like I said before live in these moments, it’s ok if things don’t work out and have fun with activities.
