I love decorating my front room for the holidays. My piano is the perfect place to decorate and make my home festive.
It is pretty much the same decorations as last year with a few new additions. I try not to spend over $35 for decorations each holiday. If I have an abundance of decor I don’t purchase more.
Hobby Lobby had all their Christmas Decor 50% off. It is such a great sale to take advantage of, but the store gets crazy so go on an off hour of the day. I wanted to add something to my wall above my piano. Last year it felt to blank. I found this cardboard deer head for like $12 and already had the paint I needed for it.
This wreath was only $5, marked down from $10. I should have purchased three at that price. It isn’t the most elaborate wreath but it’s beautiful and does the trick. I wanted to place it over the deer head.
On top of the piano, I have this birdcage I love and use for every holiday. I placed an evergreen sprig inside and I usually have lights that go around it, but my cat decided to ruin that plan by chewing on it.
I love the Wood Connection and made this Toy Shop sign. It adds a pop of red and looks amazing as a staple piece in my decor.
The snowflake and the sleigh sign came from Mantle Box. I did a collab last year with her and I love the decor I received in my box. I use it every year.
For the snowflakes, I just folded and used coffee filters. It was very cheap and extremely easy to do. You can find the plans for it here.
I do keep things pretty simple, maybe one day I can be all elaborate like those amazing Pinterest pins we all drool over.
How do you decorate for the holidays?
