Good Morning Ladies,
A few years ago I did a lot of studying and a lot of research and I decided to take my life in the direction of cruelty-free products. I won’t go into why because I don’t want this to come off preachy. This is just a guide for those looking for cruelty-free options.
Foundation
I love Cover FX. It has always been my favorite foundation. I took it up a notch by adding the Tarte Stick Foundation into my routine as well. The Tarte foundation acts as a concealer and the Cover FX gives you a flawless dewy finish. I have such dry skin foundation generally flakes on me. This Duo is the most amazing combination.
Eyes
I have yet to find a cruelty free eyeliner option. I have been using the Kat Von D black shadow as a liner until I find another option.
I love the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette from Morphe (similar). As you can see it has been well used, and well loved. I love Morphe shadows, they are so pigmented and so inexpensive.
I have lash extensions so I don’t use mascara but I used to love the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes one. It would stay all day and it would look flawless even through tears.
I love using this Anastasia brow pomade to fill my brows.
Brushes
Sigma has been my favorite brush company. They have vegan brushes, and I love the finish they give my makeup. It is always so even and streak free. They are a bit expensive but I did want a set of really reliable brushes.
Primers
I usually wear the ELF primer, it works just as well as the benefit primer I used to use before my cruelty-free days. This primer is $6 and amazing. I love how it makes my makeup look and last. ELF has some amazing products for those on a tight budget and they are also cruelty-free.
Bronzer
Tarte is such an amazing company for Vegan products and they are one of the only companies that carry products for my pale shade. This bronzer is amazing and I love the finish leaves a highlight but it’s not too glittery. I love the shade Park Avenue Princess.
Blush
I love any blush from Makeup Geek, but lately, I have been using a pink shade from my Kat Von D eye pallet. I swipe it first on my hand so it isn’t a clown blush. I love how it looks on my cheeks. It’s vibrant enough for my photos and stays a long time. I also love this Tarte one here
I hope this helps you in starting your cruelty-free makeup transition.
