Good Morning Ladies,
You know I love florals. I love styling them in every way that I can. Pulling colors to style with the pattern from the pattern, contrasting the pattern with another pattern. There are many many ways to style florals.
With a pattern:
When styling tow patterns together like floral and this geometric print find similar colors. The yellow leaves tie in the yellow geo print making this an easy pattern mixing outfit.
I love how denim looks with a delicate floral top or blazer. I love how the colors are pulled out by the denim and the pink in my top. Add a statement necklace and cute pumps to complete this Floral look.
Pairing a floral print with another texture prints a different interest to the outfit. So instead of pattern mixing you are texture mixing. Add a cute braid and a light pink gloss and you are good to go.
The skirt below is the perfect example of color blocking. Two opposing colors that come together in one outfit. I pulled the orange from the skirt and paired it with this orange floral and the triangles in the pattern pull out the bluish green part of the skirt. This helps tie all of the pieces together.
Tied over a pencil Skirt:
This pencil skirt matches the inner color of the rose perfectly. When tying a top over a pencil skirt you can go one of two ways. Matching a color or pulling a contrasting color. Both are good ways to go.
I hope these different ways to style florals have helped you learn and inspire your own chic outfits.
