Color-blocking or color mixing for spring and summer is easy. Bright fun colors used as neutrals, but how do you make fall colors fun and how do you color block? Well today I show you one of my favorite fall color combos.

This faded army green is one of my favorite colors for fall. You can throw this tee on with a pair of jeans and be ready for the start of fall. As the season goes on it gets colder here. You can always pair this green tee with a tan, or black jacket/cardigan.
I wanted to color-block a little here to add some fun style to the outfit. I added this rust cardigan to my green tee. The colors pair so well together. This rust cardigan is a must have for fall. It will translate into so many different outfits. You will get so much for your money.
I got this cardigan from Jane and I am in love with not only the fit, but the waffle texture to keep warm. It has a hood and pockets and the split side offers more moment.
The last pieces I added to the outfit were these cute animal print loafers and a layered necklace. I love the how the shoes are a pop of print and adds a fun flare to an outfit. You can also use animal print booties for the later fall months. This outfit is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
The layered necklace just adds a little more style to the outfit. Make it look a little more pulled together, but it isn’t necessary if you aren’t into jewelry. I love layered necklaces because it takes the thinking out of having to layer your own.
Last of all I paired it all with my favorite jeans from American Eagle. I love the destroyed hem and the skinny cut of the jeans.
Do you guys love fall as much as I do? This outfit just screams fall, all that it’s missing is a Pumpkin Spice drink.
