Good Morning Friends.
Yay for the start of a new week! Monday’s are hard, but I was certainly looking forward to a new week.
The end of the winter season early this year I purchased this really cute yellow sweater from Cents of Style. They had a 2 for $30 deal so I snagged two really cute sweaters for $15 each and free shipping. I love Cents of Style deals, you can get some really good steals from their site.
When styling this sweater, I wanted to go for simple. An easy fall look you can just throw on and go. What I like about this outfit is how mom friendly but chic it is. If you are between hair washes the hat will cover up any bad hair day you may be having. It is just an easy outfit that can go from chasing kids, to date night.
I wanted to pair this outfit with a hat. Hats are truly my obsession right now. They add a simple style element to the outfit, and covers up the fact you didn’t have time to curl your hair. Target has some amazing hats for inexpensive prices, that is where I found this black hat. Amazon also has some really budget-friendly hats, my tan one I wear all the time was only $14 from there.
Now if you want a really cute hat, and you have a little more to spend, check out Gigi Pip. Talk about hat heaven. Every hat is gorgeous and beautiful for any face shape. I love some of their boxier hats. They are not cheap, but I feel like you can get one of those hats to last you a lifetime. I do not own any yet but I am waiting for the right sale to drop to snag one of those beauties.
I knew I would be running around in this outfit so I paired a flat bootie with the outfit. These booties are my favorite pair to slip on for a day of errands. They are cute, comfortable and don’t dig at your ankles like some might. The elastic detail on the sides make it flexible and easy to walk in. What a cute pair of inexpensive booties to pair with your budget-friendly but chic sweater.
Like always I am wearing a pair of American Eagle jeans to finish the look. I love their stretch and fit. I rolled them up a bit at the ankles and went off on a day of running errands and scouting photo locations.
What is a simple fall look you like to style?
