Happy Halloween Friends!
Finally, my favorite holiday is here! We will be dressing up tonight and going trick or treating. with Aria, my favorite part of the holiday! We also got singing pumpkins this year so check out my instastories tonight to see how fun those are!
Halloween night we like to read Halloween books to Aria. It helps bring her down from her sugar rush and it’s a fun way to conclude the holiday! Halloween comes and goes so quickly I feel like we don’t have enough time to enjoy it.
Let’s Get Started!
Gus Was a Friendly Ghost:
This book is an adorable ghost story of a friendly ghost who haunts the attic of a summer home. He comes in contact with a mouse who wants to run a family out of their home. Without giving too much away Gus has to save the family he haunts from the mouse without losing him as a friend.
This story not only is enjoyable it got Aria to eat her carrots. Jasper Rabbit is obsessed with carrots and he loved the carrots from Crackenhopper Field. They were fat, crisp and free for the taking…until they started following him!
Your kids will love this book!
What was I scared of?
This really cute Dr. Seuss book is funny, and it glows in the dark. The creature is nothing more than a pair of haunted pants. I love this story, it was cute a little spooky but more humorous than anything which is perfect for those kids that get scared easily.
Little Blue Truck’s Halloween:
The Little Blue Truck books are always cute! This is a cute little flap book where each of the Blue Truck Characters are dressed up for a Halloween party. What will the little blue truck be?! Read this book to find out.
Good Night Goon:
This book is such a cute Halloween take on an old classic. It includes all your favorite Halloween creatures as they go to bed..or under a bed.
Pete the Cat and the Five Little Pumpkins:
The classic five little pumpkins story mixes with the cute Pete the Cat flair. I love all the Pete the Cat stories, Aria sure loves Pete and will read any book he is in. He is such a fun character that gets the kids excited to read.
There are so many stories we love that you can read to your kids! If I did a complete list this post would have like 300 books. We love shopping for our books at Amazon and trading our duplicate books at little free libraries in our neighborhood.
