Good Morning Friends!
I have been making it a point to getting out with Aria more and doing fun things. We went to the Witchfest for the first time last year and Aria had a blast.
Witchfest goes on from late September to Halloween. It is free for everyone if you go before Oct 12. They will start charging for parking due to the large amounts of people. Go early to beat crowds!
We like to get there and walk around, we do like to do the scavenger hunt. If you complete the scavenger hunt you get a cookie for .50 at the bakery. Get your form here.
Gardener Village is decorated for Halloween, there are witches everywhere and it is a fun thing to get out with the playgroup and have some fun.
This year my sister was in town with her daughter, and we were able to drag all the girls in our family along. We met up with my good friend Sarah and her cute daughters. Things like these are always more fun in groups. The kids behave better when they have friends to play with, the moms have adult conversations and there are so many cute places to take photos for fall!
As a Mammarazzi, I always look for cute places to take photos of the family. Gardener Village is very picturesque and if you get there at a decent time there is no one to photobomb you.
We hit up the Target Dollar Spot for a witches hat for Aria. I am sure the dollar store has inexpensive options as well. You don’t have to dress up but I find it fun to even if it’s only for a couple of minutes.
There is a spot there for lunch, so if you go early you can stop by the Naborhood Bakery for a sandwich.
My mom found this cute little table and Aria and her cute friends got to make a spider for like $3. They had a blast doing that, and it has become Aria’s best friend. That spider goes with her everywhere.
