Good Morning Friends!
January is over so that means we can prepare for our Spring wardrobe! Start transitioning our winter wear to spring!
Now I know I just styled this hat the other day for you here, but I had to wear it again.
Sweaters are still very much present in the spring. For me, it is still going to be cool and occasionally snowing. I keep all my sweaters out, but as spring draws nearer my sweaters go lighter in color and fabric. That is a great tip I learned for transitioning my outfits.
Here I styled a warm black sweater I got from Amazon for under $35. This is a perfect transition piece because it is warm on its own for the cooler spring weather, or if Utah decides to have a late winter I can layer it up.
My dresses start to make a reappearance. I will be still styling them with layers until summer, but lighter layers. A cardigan or light sweater. I still keep tights on hand until I can get some sun on these winter legs.
My pants go lighter as well. I do style jeans all year long, but I allow my lighter jeans to be moved to the front of my closet. My dark fall colors go towards the back. (wine, deep greens, jewel tones).
These olive green pants are really easy to style year round, but I feel like they are the perfect winter to spring color. They are a great way to brighten up this black sweater, black hat, and black booties combo. As it gets closer to spring I would be pairing this with floral prints, white tops, and cardigans.
Beanies get put away and I grab more for my fedora’s and wide-brimmed hats. Let’s be honest these hats make an appearance every season.
Booties are always a perfect transition piece. I usually wear booties all the way until summer begins. How cute are cute printed dresses, booties and a wide-brimmed hat for spring?
