Uncommon Valentines Day Gifts

I am a weirdo and I love unconventional gifts. Things I didn’t know existed for gifts that I need that I didn’t know I needed. Brandon is really good at giving gifts like that. It is so fun to always have that element of surprise and it’s always a good surprise.

When browsing the Internet for gifts for Brandon and Aria, I wanted something unique and different. Something that he loves, but something he wouldn’t think to ask for.

I came across Uncommon Goods and fell in love with the cool and unique items they have on their site. They literally have something for everyone, on any budget.

For Kids

Their kids’ section is pretty adorable. I found a few items I had a hard time narrowing down for Aria. These plats are adorable and help picky eaters eat their dinner. I was also looking into getting her this design your own putty playset. She loves creating things with different textures and colors and its great for fine motor development.

I decided to go with this book. She has such a love for reading, I love reading to her so it’s a gift that won’t waste space, I won’t have to declutter it in a few years, and this book is great for empowerment. Which I always want for her. I love most of the women they added to this book. They have amazing women like Ellen, Rosa Parks, and Oprah. Women for Aria to look up to.

For the Men

Narrowing Brandon’s list down was hard, there were so many cool items that he would love. He loves spicy foods, he loves cool little gadgets and things for his office.

Brandon loves grilling, smoking, and BBQing. I almost grabbed these for kabob grilling. They are cool little baskets that make grilling the kabob’s a whole lot easier.

This Game of Phones game actually looks pretty fun! Basically, it is a scavenger hunt game you use with your phones. It sounds fun, but I figured we are on our phones enough..we need a break.

I decided to settle on this hot sauce kit. He loves hot sauce, and always loves trying the new flavors. This guy eats the hottest things and it doesn’t phase him. We brought ghost pepper chips to a party and nobody could eat a single chip without breathing fire. He was grabbing fistfuls off chips and ate them like they were Doritos. I can’t wait for him to try these different sauces.

For Women

It could be that I am a woman, but I feel like we are so easy to shop for. There were a few items I found on this site that a lot of women would enjoy.

They have some cute necklaces on their site, but I feel like they are quite overpriced for what they are. So on this site steer clear of jewelry. I did really like some of their different kits. They have like a tamale kit or fondue kit. Great for women that love to cook or entertain.

I fell in love with this cute color changing cinema Lightbox. The box can be used for parties, home decor for any holiday, or if your wife works on social media they are great for flat lays. Brandon knows I love home decor that I can use for all the showers and parties I throw. So I was very excited when this item came for me.
