Good Morning Friends,
If you missed it I did Aria’s sassy double buns (here) or the milk braid (here). Today I am showing you a hairstyle I found on Pinterest also a hairstyle that Rachel Parcel recently did on her daughter.
This hairstyle is again a super easy hairstyle, one that you can do in 10 minutes once you get down the French twist part.
Let’s get started.
Step 1:
Brush through hair. Get out all the knots, smooth hair always works best. It will make the twist easier to do, and it makes for a painless experience for the kiddo. I love the brush I linked below for getting out all the tangles. Wet the hair.
Step 2:
Take two sections of hair. I hold them fairly tight to keep a tighter twist. Twist under and when you bring the twist up grab a section of hair with it.
Section 3:
Continue the twist around until all the hair has been incorporated into the twist.
Section 4:
Secure with a hair tie. Make sure it’s in tight. I spray the twist to keep it in place.
Section 5:
Now place an elastic a few inches down the ponytail. Separate the inner section and rotate the ponytail in and tighten.
Do this to a few other sections almost all the way down the ponytail. Hairspray the braid and to keep it in place.
