Good Morning friends!!
I have had a few questions about hair care and what cruelty free products I love for my hair. So I figured a post was the best route to take.
I thought after switching to cruelty free products I would have to sacrifice on quality. After doing research I found some of the brands I already loved are cruelty free.
Let’s get started.
Shampoo and Conditioner
I have used Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for years. It’s one of the few products that really helps my overly dry and frizzy hair. Make sure to buy yours from places like Ulta or beauty supplies that way you know you are getting the real product and not a counterfeit.
My favorite shampoo and conditioner set from Paul Mitchell is the Super Strong set. It makes my hair feel so sleek and shiny I love this brand, and I love how it works on my hair. Paul Mitchell has fantastic products I highly recommend them.
Not Your Mothers has a great detangler called Knotty to Nice. I also use this on my daughters hair. It helps us fight the tears and break through the knots. I love this detangler.
I know Paul Mitchell has a detangler for kids I really want to try but its always sold out.
I have to use a heat protectant on my hair. I don’t blow dry my hair but I do use a curling wand often. I want to keep it as healthy as possible. I really like the Not Your Mother’s Beat the Heat spray. All of their products has a great smell and it works well on my hair without drying it out like a lot of products can do.
I have so many favorites for this section. Paul Mitchell has a great invisiblewear undone spray I love! I have tried so many of their hairsprays and I love them all, but that one is my favorite. Big Sexy Hair is another favorite when I really need volume.
I don’t often use gel when I do I use Brandons and he gets the Wax works Gel.
Please be careful when using hair masks. Do your research on the ingredients and how long you expose them to your hair. If you have question ask a hair care professional.
I often do a deep conditioner as a mask. Mine all come from the Beauty supply but I want to try the Brite Vegan Icecream Masques. Do you have any great hair masks?
The life blood for all of us who hate having to redo our hair after showering. I love love love the Not Your Mother’s coconut dry shampoo.
