I have repeated time and time again; I don’t buy anything for my wardrobe unless I can style it three to four ways with items I already own. Today we are styling this really cute red sweater from Pink Lilly. Not only is it super cute with super poofy sleeves, but it’s also on sale! Works for Christmas and V-Day.
Let’s get started.
So first let’s style it simply. A pair of jeans and mules and you’re good to go. I am making it a New Years’ resolution to buy more necklaces to style with this year, but with a baby I never wear jewelry. He tries to eat it or pull it off anyway, but say you aren’t hauling around a baby this outfit would be really cute with a layered necklace.
Comfy but Casual
This sweater is long enough to cover your bum so if you want to pair it with leggings you can. I added some of my favorite black booties that I have had for years and a black hat. Again this would look really cute with a simple layered necklace.
Green and Red, nothing says Christmas more than this color pairing. You could easily add a red heel but I kept it neutral. This helps your legs look longer because it draws the eyes downward without a stopping point. Whereas the eyes would stop at a red shoe. If that makes sense. This is such a fun skirt you have seen me wear it numerous times and it was super inexpensive.
Red and White
If you don’t want to look like a walking Christmas tree but you still want to look festive pull a white skirt or if you don’t have one tie your sweater over a white dress. I just did a simple knot here in my sweater. I love dresses because you can often layer items over the top extending the wear. Again you can style this with heels but I wanted to be more casual here with these amazing fold-over booties and this hat.
I hope that helps you style your red sweater! I am linking multiple red sweaters I love here so you have options. Shop your closet or shop here.
